Wink! Another very important body language which carries a label full of meanings.
Winking is an action done by us, humans. We come cross men, to be more precise doing it for several unknown reasons. On everyday situations, i'm sure you have come across someone on the streets doing that to you and i'm also sure that you will just stop and wonder why is he doing that or simply ignoring him completely. A wink just means a simple facial expression made by briefly closing one eye. Many people are mistaken a wink to a blink. Both differ from each other.
Winking can carry loads of meanings. As usual, different cultures take it differently from their own perspectives. As stated by wikipedia, western cultures analyze it from a different view. They use it while communicating with a sexual intention, ranging from flirtations to an explicit invitation. On the other hand, the Asians especially Indians from India claim it to be a very offensive gesture. Some think that it may show a symbol of being a pervert with explicit intentions while others may view it as a private joke or something of similar terms being shared. In the Latin American culture, its similar to the American culture but they view it as a romantic gesture and done widely among friends. So it's an act of being friendly if you have been winked at in Brazil or Argentina.
Winking might be taken for fun. However, there are children or adolscents who wink unvoluntarily or unwillingly because they are going through stress. It's a form of defect. It is advised that winking should not be done if it's not accepted anyhow by anyone. Most people might not take it willingly. It's an obscene act and so, you people please stay out of winking. You can blink but not wink!
